A couple of weeks ago I got to photograph a Stop Hunger Now packaging event that was sponsored by my church. Stop Hunger Now is an organization that provides direct aid and packages meals for countries in need. To date the organization has given over $70 million dollars worth of aid and over 34 million meals to 70+ countries.
These Stop Hunger Now packaging events are the means in which this relief organization package’s their meals for distribution. An organization will come to them and ask to put on an event, Stop Hunger Now sends an employee to supervise along with all the supplies, and when all is said and done your church or corporation or small business has created thousands of meals to feed children and families all across the world. In the case of my church, we made 40,000 meals in a little under 2 hours.
These events are great fun, and they are for a great cause. For more information on Stop Hunger Now and how to schedule an event yourself, head on over to www.stophungernow.org.
Below I’ve posted a few pictures from the event, so go take a look, then head on over to their website!
