I can’t remember the last time I went out and took portraits for fun, but a few weeks ago I got that chance!
I joined a few people on a trip down to the waterfront in Georgetown one evening. I brought a couple of lenses (including my lensbaby which I ended up using a lot), and took full advantage of the lights another one of the photographers brought (a fantastic set of Elinchrome lights). With another guy acting as our model, decked out in a suit and top hat, we experimented and messed around a bit. It was fun to just get out and take pictures with no pressure and no real goal, and it’s something I wish I did more of.
There are a few images I wanted to share from the evening, so I hope you guys enjoy them! As a side note, this post will mark another few weeks of radio silence I’m afraid, but I look forward to having work to share with you guys down the road. Keep warm everyone!
