Another friend, another marriage!
I say that as if my friends are getting married left and right (they aren’t), but as time marches on I’m getting the pleasure of seeing more of my friends take this step in their life. I’ve written about this before, but being asked to photograph a friends wedding is a bit of a double edge sword. On one hand you get to be involved in such a unique way in your friends big day, but you also have to work. I’m always honored when asked, and Evan and Kelley asking me to capture their big day was just as flattering!
I’ve known Evan for a few years now, meeting him through a mutual friend. We would get together on a semi-regularly basis, but it wasn’t until he started spending more time in Maryland that I realized something was up. One day he casually mentioned he was dating a girl name Kelley who lived up near Baltimore. Next thing I knew he was engaged! It was nice on my end to be a part of the wedding as it gave me a chance get to know Kelley. She is a wonderful and sweet person, and the two of them together, well, let’s just say it was really easy to get emotion in their pictures!
The wedding itself took place in Ellicot City, Maryland. This was a small and intimate affair, and the day fit these two perfectly. Everything was so easy going and relaxed. Throw in some good southern food (the fried chicken was excellent), and the quirky dancing of Evan, and I’m sure everyone had a good time!
I’m light on words in this post, I know, but that’s because I’m confident the pictures will tell you everything you need to know about this couple and their big day! Now, on to the images!
Congrats Evan and Kelley! I c an’t wait to see and be apart of your lives for many years to come!
