Warning: An excess of smiles incoming!
Many months back I got an inquiry email from Ahmed asking about my availability and pricing to shoot a wedding in July. As is standard practice for me, I responded with all the approriate info, then asked how he came to find me. I like to ask this question not only for my own curiosity, but to see what avenues people are finding my photography. The answer I got from him however surprised me…
“I found your website in a thread on Reddit.”
This blew me away! For starters I’m not active on Reddit in any shape or form. I don’t read or post stuff on it; I simply know of it’s existence. Outside of this signaling that maybe I should be doing more marketing on Reddit, it set the tone for the very unique nature of this couple. Simply put, this is probably the most international couple I’ve ever met, and they make my life sound incredibly boring!
The wedding itself took place at the DACOR Bacon House in downtown Washington D.C. I had never heard of this place, but it is a fantastic venue right in the heart of D.C. The house has a ton of history along with a lot of character. It was a small wedding, but it was full of energy and smiles (I’m guessing the couples infectious smiles spread to the guests)! Overall it was a great wedding and I had a wonderful time photographing it! Now on to the pictures!
Thank you Ahmed and Megan for allowing me to take part in your big day! Here’s to many more years of great adventures!
