My Background
Born and raised in Northern Virginia, I studied photography and video at Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!) and have been doing freelance photography in the D.C. area since 2010. While I’ve always loved photographing people, I’ve been known to dabble in interior design and landscape photography.

Outside of photography I’m a big sports fan (mostly hockey and football), technology geek, and lover of travel! I’m more than happy to talk about any of those things with you if the subject is brought up so be prepared!
My Philosophy
Let’s start with the basics. If I had to give you a cheesy statement about how I operate it would be “I want to capture the moment, not direct the moment.” If I had to define my “style” of photography for you, it would be a “documentary” style of photography; if I had it my way, I would say nothing and simply let you look at my images!

What I will tell you is this; My main goal is to give you what you want without adding stress. I’m laid back, flexible, and I’m here for you! I’m going to work with you to capture what’s important to you. It’s your moment, and I want to capture it as beautifully and simply as possible!
